can o'c eventually break your card??
also how can i check the temp of the card
what is a suitable temp for radeon 9550 256mb
also how high can i get a radeon 9550 up im currently on 413 core 213memory
from 250 to 200

ocing is ok... but not to offfend the site or anything but ocing doesnt do much to boost a score. Atleast when ur ocing 30 or 40 MHZ what I did.

How much do you think ti would cut the life of your card down? Im runnign only stock heat sink on my R9600SE so should I oc at all? Earlier I had it running stable at 434/229. Shuold I tone it down a bit?

Average life expectancy for a microprocessor is 120,000 hours... even if ocing cut its lifespan in half, it'll still be fine for years of continuous use.

About compatibility, I have a smaller mobo and it only has two pci slots and an agp slot. In one of the pci slot I have an audigy 2 so if I were to put the fan inbetween the audigy 2 and the agp would that be enough breathing space for the fan? I was thinking maybe I would just go for the fan that goes right on the VGA. What do you think?
