id keep the h50, but that case has poor airflow for it

look for something with better airflow, bottom mount psu, and top fan
thermaltake v3 can be found for around $30-40
as well as the nzxt gamma

edit: nevermind, that case is good, i was thinkin the 330 series cases

add another fan for p/p on the radiator
i tried everything, add fan for push and pull, move radiator to the top, and reinstall

but it's stick on 53 (push and pull) and 56 (push only) with p95 running
it's worse than my old TX3
my TX3 only have 51-52 max

my processor is 955 BE with stock clock

That's oddly high. I don't think my 955 ever got that high even on the stock cooler. Have you checked your thermal paste?

already and my thermal paste is fine with enough amount of it

are you monitoring your pump speed ? screen shot of hwmonitor or speedfan or whatever
are the cooling lines totally kink free ? ( no excessive bending) can you put up a pic ? might make it easier

I literally bought 5, yes, five different H50s from five different stores thinking that not all H50s are the same (extracted from the idea "not all CPUs are the same") but it wasn't the case in the H50s - they are all the same.

I ended up returning all of them and went to a Megahalem for my 930 rig.

Now that I have a 2600k, I still bite the dust and got an H70.

Difference: night and day.

I'm not saying buy the H70 since you're still fresh with your frustration from its predecessor - just sharing my experience.

I like aircooling. Low maintenance, cheap. I'm just done with the idea of putting a huge brick in my case.

According to the reviews the Tt Frio and the CM V6 are both excellent coolers.

An example is here.
yes my budget is around $50 - 60
after i calculate i think megahalems will cost more because it don't have a fan and amd retention kit on bundle

so i decide to choose one of CM V6 GT or TT frio

and i have one option again and it's noctua d14
but i don't think it will fit on my case because the size is very huge

A D14 is no taller than a Frio or a V6, or a 212+ for that matter. Basically any case with a 120mm exhaust fan will fit a full tower cooler. So you can go with a D14 or a Silver Arrow. You won't be able to fit an Archon. Funny that a choice of a $50 case will drive your purchase of a $50 - 90 cooler, but that's the way it often is.

In any case, the Silver Arrow is a fraction of a degree better cooler than the D14, and about 3dB quieter. The D14 can accommodate taller RAM. Either heatsink is a superb choice. IMO I'd rather save up for one of these than buy a lesser heatsink.

at the first i but this case i don't think i'll buy some big hsf and i think 430 is enough

but now i realize i really need better cooling because of overclocking

and i'm planning to buy new bigger case, my choice is haf 912 or lancool k62 or do you have recommended with that price range?

and i'm think i'll go to noctua d14

Excellent cooler. As for the case, yours will fit the D14, so don't change it yet.

Your case has two top fan positions. Close off the rear position and put an intake fan in the forward position to feed cool outside air to your heatsink. Your case has a bottom intake fan position (I had to mod my case to get one of these). Use it. Also use your side intake. This is what I have for airflow ATM:

You can replicate that.

What kind of filtration do you use for all the intakes?

I have one of these on top held in place with short vibration isolators that are not fully pushed through, and another on the front held there with electrician's tape. I'm still trying to decide how I want to filter the bottom and the side intakes.

I had this issue though mine was a bit worse where prime would make my 955 hit 65 then start failing since these are only rated to 62c. Went to my craptacular aircooler GeminII S and it doesnt hit past 55c on prime. Im looking at that frio highly interested.>.> I wanna hit 4GHz stable

Reviews show it's not as good as the Frio so no

V6GT:sniper:
I have a FRIO and it keeps my cpu cool at 66c IBT and 64 P95. With the fans push/pull on low! A little large but not overly so and easy to mount. Covers my first ram slot but a standard size DIMM fits.
