Hey all
Im looking for a LCD for gaming, i wanna spend 200 quid max on it, roughly 350,400 dollars. What are widescreens like? I can only seem to find monitors with a max resolution of either 1280 x 1024 max or 1440 x 900 within my price range, has anyone find any higher res moniors within my price range? Im slightly concerned with the support widescreens have for games and wether most or all games will support a widescreen resolution, also are widescreens good for games or will it look weird?
Thanks

Newer games support widescreen formats. Would I get a Widescreen over a regular one? No. But that's personal choice.

I have a Proview 19" that cost me $180 and looks better than some of the $200-$300 ones i've seen. Don't buy an Acer LCD they have this weird look to them, like it's blurry. As far as where to find one, I don't know about the UK.

In my opinion worth it to go over £200.

Here is a 20" monitor in your price range:
And the size does not add to the resolution in this case, so I guess the 20" is more than enough (larger screen without higher res. might not always be good)

Look for one of these. I got a 24" dell and love it. This new one looks to perform even better with 5ms response time.
