Help me create the best USB boot device ever

Ive set myself a sort of mission here: Trying to get all of my favourite utilities onto a USB stick which I can boot from.

Needless to say, I've ran into some trouble trying to get everything to work properly.

These are the utilities I want on it:

[email protected] Boot Disk
-Hirens Boot CD
-Ubuntu
-Ultimate Boot CD
-GParted

I can manage the Ubuntu, Hirens and GParted bit quite easily with some messing and usage of Grub4DOS but UBCD and [email protected] are giving me headaches due to Windows-based bootloaders and what not.

So basically, can anybody offer any advice on how to pull this feat off?

Ditch Ubuntu. Use something like Backtrack instead.
It depends whether he wants to use it or not. Seriously, I can't see that embarking on a mission to fill a usb key with as many OS's as possible is a smart plan, to be honest, you'd be better off with one really good operating system that can do the features of all of the other operating systems.

Well, its not just that I'm trying to fill it with bootable OS's, its more the bootable utilities that I'm after.

My work is based around being able to diagnose problems with PC's, and having all the bootable diagnostics and what not available on one USB, instead of a whole bunch of CD's, would be much more convenient.

Backtrack would probably be useful on the Network auditing side of things, although its mainly hardware diagnostics I'm focusing on.

How do you select them? Have you installed GRUB or something to boot up programs on it? I would tend to agree with Cepheus, since most of them do the same thing, no? We still don't know what you are going to do either. Hirens should do everything for diagnostics.
Would it be possible to chainload the bootloaders of the Windos-based programs using grub? Don't ask me about the technical details of doing this, though

Yes, it would be fairly easy, but I don't see the use of any of this.
I just run [email protected] with folder on the X: drive with a crapload of portable utilities on it. It can do everything from image drives to burning to virus removal.
