Help me find a gaming desktop for ~$700 (Will not build)

Title says it all. Looking for a great black friday deal.

I need a new desktop to replace my 5 year old dell laptop and I figured I'd register on this site and hopefully get some help.

I want a desktop that will be able to run WoW on max graphics settings as well as being able to run diablo 3 extremely smooth whenever it does come out.

I do not know how to build my own computer, plus I don't have the time to do it in the first place.

Any help is greatly appreciated

First of all, welcome to OCN. You're posting this in the wrong section, but that's ok.

While I understand that you want to get a computer done quick and easy, think of the money you will save in the future simply by taking some time to learn how to build and therefore maintain your computer. It is as easy as putting lego blocks together, and you will save ALOT of money.

With that said, if you are adamant about not taking some time to acquire the knowledge of building computers, we can definitely recommend you some prebuilt computers. What is your budget?
Yea the thing is I REALLY don't have time to order parts and build something new. My budget is around $700. I've been looking at HP's for the most part so far. I really want to be able to run WoW at maximum graphics as well as hopefully being able to run diablo 3 smooth, whenever it does come out..
okay, I'm not from USA but from the forums, it seems like http://www.ecollegepc.com/ is the best place for decent priced pre-built PC's.
something with, AMD X3 720, GA-MA770-UD3 M/B, 4GB RAM, ATi 4850, etc...should fit $700 without a monitor.
Building a computer isn't has hard as it may seem. It's like playing with a lego set, except you only have like 10 pieces.

Otherwise, just go to Dell or something and buy a desktop. There aren't that many desktop deals these days.

However, IIRC, there was a nice HP desktop on SD a few days back. I think it's still available. It was 400 or something.

Cyberpower actually does a decent job building PCs, except it's probably out of your price range.

Nevermind, they actually have some sub 700 PCs. I'd recommend you choose one and just get it from there.

About $100 over.. but maybe you can raise budget.

You can do a lot better on your own though.

He wants prebuilt, which probably means he wants the OS installed for him and everything set up so that it's good to go.

Also the kits are missing a CD/DVD drive.

Ah well.. guess barebone doesn't count. Forgot about the CD/DVD drive.

Check out Cyberpower I suppose: http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/
Quite expensive when comparing to a self built one.

The video card is not so good, ati radeon 4350 runs crysis wars on low settings with a crap fps rate, my sister has that card

otherwise you can play fallout 3, sims 3, and protype on that card very nicely
WoW addiction needs to be satisfied asap - can't take the time to build your own!
Building a computer is not time consuming at all.

I finished my very first build two years ago in 30 minutes. I did mess up enough for me to spend nearly two days on it due to a pretty stupid mistake (I forgot the metal separators between the motherboard and the case) and the thing wouldn't boot up.

But if you do your research beforehand and get good parts, you should be done in an hour or two, max. Plus, building your own saves you a couple hundred bucks. You can possibly get an i7 with a really decent setup for 700 bucks. You can't get a pre-built machine of that caliber for $700 though.
You have time to game, but not to build a computer. I do not understand.

So what if he doesn't want to build it himself? I don't see the problem and I don't see why people are giving him a hard time for it. If you don't want to help, don't.

Maybe it's because we want to save him some money while getting the best out of it?

Hey, bud. I understand. Now, I wouldn't buy a normal PC, but this is definitely something special enough to warrant not building your own:

HP Firebird 802

Yes, overpriced, underpowered, but a lot of performance for only 350w!
Guy stop flaming.

That's a surprisingly good deal.
