Which of these kits would you say is the better? (Or any others on the site, looking to spend around £50).

I've got an OCZ XTC RAM Cooler at the moment, so I'd like to use it with the new RAM. Well, I guess if it came with a bigger, better HS I'd be Ok with that.

Thanks!

you really can't go wrong with either the reaper or the dominator ram, both overclock very well! I have always used corsair and have never had a problem and am even using the same corsair that you are looking at and love it, very fast ram, not to mention corsairs products are always top notch!!! hope that helps.

My personal choice, very reliable, OC very well, and even underclock with great results. Very happy when I got these bad boys!

Thanks for the replies guys!

Looks like the majority of people are liking the Dominators! Sweet!

They're taller than average RAM aren't they? I don' think I could use my OCZ cooler with 'em. Would it be wise to get the Dominator cooler, or are they fine passively cooled?

I don't really want something that's massively tall, that's going to block air flow to my Tuniq.
As you can see, the OCZ Cooler comes up just below the Tuniq, I'm sure the Corsair Dominator would be a fair bit higher;

I have the OCZ and Corsair coolers. The OCZ cooler will not fit over the Dominators or any other kit with extended heatsinks.

With that said if you have good airflow in your case you do not need any aftermarket fans over the RAM. Dont waste your money.

I have the Dominator kits you linked and also a set of Mushkins with the same specs. I find in the 2x2GB kits they are all about the same so go with a kit with a decent price and good customer support just in case.

Personally I vote for the Dominators. Corsair has always been good for me.

If you dont really need the 4GB you will find 2x1GB kits that can run higher clocks or tighter timings than most 4GB kits. So keep that in mind. I have a set of OCZ "SLI ready" RAM that runs 1064MHz 4-4-4-12 24/7 at 2.1v.

Sweet, Dude. Thanks for the advice! Looks like the Dominators are the most popular!

Is it better to get 2 x 2GB sticks over 4 x 1GB sticks?

My PC will look bare though!
lol

2x2 GB always > 4x1 GB
Less stress on memory controller.

I have the 2x2 dominators and im loving them. I use them sans cooler though, i have an intake and the cpu fan right next to it though. they are tall, but not as tall as the reapers.
