Help me tweak my AKG k81's!

I should get my k81's in the mail tomorrow from amazon!
When i was asking opinions on these headphones many people said that there were a few common tweaks out there to make these sound even better.
I'm looking for any insight or help with this since i'm fairly new to the headphone scene.

I was looking into re-cabling, blu-tak mod, anything of the sort
-links are a great too!
Thanks

they came today! ill post pictures soon.
blue-tak mod is pretty easy, just apply a thin layer over the inside of the cups to help dampen them.

I don't have any pictures of the 'guts' but here's a modded pair I found... picture was taken a good 2 years ago though... lol

My pair had tak-mod, recable, and velour pads (originally from the Sennheiser HD25 iirc). I liked all three tweaks; velours can be risky though since they greatly reduce bass quantity in favor of a somewhat more balanced presentation. For me, this fit my preferences.
