in that article, it was stated that they were having a hard time with the drivers. but i haven't found anything that states no front mic pin. or maybe i'm just blind?

hmm i've built a buddy with the ecs gf8200 w/c was similiar and it had the exact f-audio pins. but the problem with my case is that the pins were scattered and i have to plug them one by one, unlike his case w/c is not, and he just had to plug it right away.

well, i guess i'm not seeing any mic header, but i'm sure it should be there.

even the most expensive ecs mobo doesn't indicate that there is a mic header

this is what the manual says:
1- port 1L
2- aud_gnd
3- port-1R
4- presence #
5- port 2R
6- sense1-return
7- sense-send
8- key
9- port 2L
10- sense2-return

there were no printings of those front panel features at all.

and yes i got the front audio output working, but i'm still trying to figure out the mic.
