So I have my 2 GTX 480, one is EVGA with an Accelero cooler which is amazing except it takes up 3 slots, and the other is a Galaxy GTX 480 with is dead, and since GALAXY CUSTOMER SUPPORT SUCKS I can't get a new one. So I basically have one GTX 480. I am wanting some more power when playing some games like BF3 on ultra at 1920x1200 and recording at the same time, so I am wondering what the best way to upgrade would be.

I was very happy when my other 480 worked as I got steady 60fps in most games. My options are like this as I see it:

1. Sell working 480 and get a new GPU

2. Buy another 480 for SLI

I am really leaning toward the second option as used 480's are at extremely low prices, like >$175. What do yall think?

First option definitely. You have used up your GTX480. It's time to let go. The situation would get even worse when you try to upgrade because you will have two GTX480's that would go up for like nothing.
