im not quite sure where this should go but seen as its most probs summat to do with the bios ill post it here , on my boot from devices menu i can only get my hdd and my floppy , how would i get up the 2 dvd drives aswell? i have tried looking in the bios and changin the boot order but it still only lets me pick those to aslo i have an asus p5ad2 deluxe

Make sure the jumpers are set right on the drives, and the power cables and data cables are seated securely. Can you tell if the harddrives are spinning up when you turn the system on?

hahaha, yeah that just sounds like the problem. Oh, well just turn off the comp. and re-connect them.

i can use them in widnows just not when im booting cause i "brought" a win xp pro upgrade today and ii wanna install it but its sp1 though so i can only install it if i boot from it

can any one help i need to boot from a dvd disc but its not in the boot devices menu

the bios doesnt really know any difference between the two..

so set it to CD-rom to boot first

i mean it doesnt have those options :| it lets me boot from either the floppy or the hdd , the 2 dvd drives arnt there :|
