i just reformated and now it shows 127gb whats going on how do i get back my 250gb please help

Some older motherboards don't support ATA drives above 127GB. Also you need to have WinXP SP1a or higher, but you sig says you have SP2.<br><br>
So probably just windows didn't install correctly. Look at the link above to fix it.<br><br>
You can use the search feature for "127GB". It is a very common problem.
