I just normally hook them up to a pc that I know is working. Which.. doesn't really answer your question but gets the best results for me anyway. Sometimes you can smell or see a burnt out psu. And every now and then when a psu dies it will take the motherboard with it.

</div>Considering they broke it. You might have to whine/get angry with them, but they should replace it.

A Buddy of mine gave me his old p4c800-e so i have a mobo now..just need to return that psu...kinda scared to get another trio after it smoked my mobo lol. Do the true power trios have a history of killing psu's? if only there was a place neer that sold the GameXStream lol
