I found this old Motherboard (http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbdetails...odel=m7vkq+pro) in the pile of computer junk I have, and I had an old Duron CPU around too, so I decided to try both of them and for my surprise, both of them worked. However, the mobo is failing, after the post screen, it gets stuck and it doesn't even try to boot. Also, it froze a couple of time while exploring the BIOS and it shows 61.2v where it should show 5.0v, but it doesn't fluctuate either, so it's evidently erroneous. I want to fix it because I'd like to try some extreme overclocking with it, and it'd be a nice computer for playing CS 1.6. If someone had a similar problem, or knows what could be failing, I'd really appreciate your help.
Yeah, I guess it's broken beyond repair. :/ I thought that maybe it was an easy fix, like changing a transistor in the voltage regulator circuit or something like that. :3 Thanks anyway.
