Hey guys, i apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section. My comp has a nvidia geforce 6600, i came on here earlier today to learn how to overclock(im definetely a newbie), ive downloaded coolbits and all that and managed to overclock the settings from the default 300/500 to 400/553. I tested numerous games and everything worked fine i tried to up it to 410 and it worked fine then when i tried 420 the game seemed to work fine then it froze on me. i restarted my computer and now windows starts up to the loading screen with the little bar underneath and after its done loading it flashes the blue screen and the comp restarts itself?? I have no problems getting into safe mode and when i try to click on the nview display settings to lower my overclock the display wont show up.. any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

Firstly I would try and Reset your CMOS.

To do this look to your motherboard and you will see a small battery on your motherboard. Remove the battery from the motherboard for 2-5mins and then put it back in and reboot.

NOTE**. When performing a CMOS clear all BIOS settings are returned to default.

your games gets that becaue you clock it to much , but if your windows started to behave wierd , just hold the CTRL under the whole start of the computer and you will be fine , when you hold the button you tell the program to load the deafult clock of your card , i dont know if i works in Coolbits , but it works in ATiTools and RivaTuner , but i think it will work! so try it out!

Hold the CTRL button down while windows is starting up, this will disable the overclock and you can go in and change it.
