I can't seem to get vsync off when I enable lightboost and jump in a game. An example I can give is Counter-Strike: GO where I can get high frames, but (with cap set to 300) my frames are being capped at 120 due to the lightboost refresh rate being 120hz.

I know there is input lag with vsync on (yet in other games where there is an option to turn vsync off it is set to off - but the 120 frames cap persists), so I am trying to make sure none of this is affecting me.

Anyone else having this issue?

EDIT: I have a GTX 560TI

I have the same monitor, I play CS 1.6 and CS:GO. With lightboost on, everything looks beautiful, but I swear I notice some sort of mouse input lag. I've read you can fix this by unchecking steroscopic 3D once you've got lightboost to work(which still keeps the lightboost hack on), but I've also heard mouse input lag remains when you do this. Not sure if I want to use lightboost for competitive gaming.

Two methods of eliminating LightBoost input lag.

1. Follow the tip "TIP: Improving Convenience, Stability & Eliminating "Control+T"
From the LightBoost HOWTO.

2. Or, instead, there's a better way to enable LightBoost without enabling stereoscopic:
ToastyX LightBoost method.

One you do either of the above, you are able to turn off VSYNC and go above 120fps.
Even VSYNC ON has less input lag with this method, too (if you prefer VSYNC ON) since you no longer have the 3D stereoscopic overhead going on in the background.

The stereoscopic checkbox is the major cause of LightBoost input lag. Fixing this solves 75% of the lag problem. I can't feel it anymore. There is still a very tiny amount of LightBoost input lag left over, but the competition gameplay benefits (for many people) now outweighs the minor leftover lag because one can react faster without motion blur. Less human brain lag, mind you. There are many reports of people getting far better scores with a (properly tweaked) LightBoost setup than without, but your mileage may vary.
