Hi, All
This is my first post in overclock forum. I'm also very new to overclocking as well.
I just bought a Sapphire RX580 Nitro+ 4Gb Overclock version. And I tried to use their latest software trixx 6.4 to overclock my card.
I also tried to use MSI afterburner but I cannot even change the core clock and memory clock.
Here is some info of my card:

I tried to plug a single 8 pin power and 8+6 pin power. Didn't work for both.

This is the settings I have.

And this is the result

The memory clock and core clock is 1750MHz and 1411MHz. They are like this no matter what I do in Trixx.

Please instruct if I missed anything. Really want to learn how to overclock GPUs.
Thanks in advance

You'll need both the 6pin and 8pin together by the looks of it, though I've no idea why a Nitro requires that much power when the likes of MSI 580 Gaming X only requires the 8pin

First of all, uninstall the Trixxx software and the AMD software package.
Download and install the AMD base driver (minimal setup, not the 450mb package) and only install the driver for your GPU. Dont bother with Wattman and the rest of the crap in there.
Download MSI Afterburner and use this for voltage control and overclocking.

Can't overclock a few of my 580s either... I just don't think they OC that well in general. That or we have trash cards. I have 1 or 2 that can handle a 200mhz OC no problem... I think they're my Asus Strix ones but I can't recall... I underclock/undervolt them all now for mining.

How's the mining performance for your 580s? I am actually trying to get into mining as well. Could you please share more information about your set up please

The Sapphire Trixx software is unable to overclock my Nitro+ RX580 4Go too.
But other software work perfectly:
- Wattman in the AMD Radeon Settings
- OverdriveNTool

I was able to overclock my RX580 Nitro, but it needed something like +100mv for 50mhz . It is kinda pointless Overclock so I'm still on stock.
