hey i'm having a problem updating some software for windows x64. when i download the drivers that i need and try to install them i get an error stating that the files i have on there currently cannot be deleated.

First i tried to uninstall it in ad/remove programs and it says that i need to make sure the path specified is correct; so, that didn't work.

Then, i deleted all of the files from the program files list, but for some reason it still doesnt work, and the file is still there in the ad/remove programs and i get the same error.

next, i tried to boot in safe mode and delete it but that didn't work either.

so, im stuck. I have no clue what to do. I've deleated all of the files in program files, and performed a search of my HDD and deleted those as well. The only one thats left is in my ad/remove programs and it won't let me delete it.

any suggestions?

Well do this...Trust me. Remove all the files and folders for that program from the Program files folder. Then delete its program path in the ALL PROGRAMS list. Once you have done that try and remove it again from the ADD/REMOVE list. Now im expecting it not to work.
Now your issue is that its a Registry ISSU. Now download and run thi program to fix th registry issues and it all traces of the program will be gone.
