Help with Asus P5E problem

So, my in-game performance in some games has been truly abysmal, and lower than what i've seen from other users, then, i noticed THIS in CPU-z:

could this be why? and if so, how can i fix it?

Which slot did your put the GPU in? The blue slots run x16... The black ones only go x4 or x1.

ey, i had the same issue with my P5B deluxe. what i did was step up the pci-e frequency in the bios to 105 and everything works like a charm

I reset it, disabled a ton of crap, reset CMOS, i tried everything, it still doesn't go to 16x, HELP

is your BIOS updated to the latest release?

1201 is the latest one for P5E. I would recommend flashing it to an earlier version just to see.

I have the latest version.
problem was solved by setting NB voltage to 1.65 and setting PCI-E freq to 115

Isn't 115MHz a bit high for PCI-E freq ??? You might damage the card

Might want to watch out doing that. You can corrupt your hardrive with high PCI-e frequencies.

Up to and including 115 is still safe for a P5E as far as i know from other users, and my HDD's seem fine
