I am overclocking my athlon 2200+ on an MSI k7n2 delta2 MOBO, 1.5 gigs of pc 3200 ( 3x 512). AGP ge-force 7600gs 512 MB (BFG).

I need specs and feedback on safe CPU temp. Running at 107 F right now.

Using CPU Z, great utility.
Got FSB at 143MHZ ATM, want to go higher..as high as possible. Looking at AMD's website Here is the link. (CPU is at 1.9/FSB 286.5(143) , memory running at 210 DDR (420)

Looks to me like I can go to 85 C..is that really true?! sounds crazy hot..got 2 fans one on cpu, one for tower, both small.

I will post my system specs better in my profile right away but some feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Those cores run really hot so if you are sitting at 107F under load which is about 41C then you have tons more room in terms of heat. Keep pushing that OC. However if that is idle try running an intensive program and tell us how hot your CPU gets.

ran at 1.9 for a couple of hours, got unstable..monitor kept going to standby after post, system rebooted once or twice..RAM is at 4:6

Could use some advice there. Lower monitor refresh rate help? was running FSB at 143MHz..AGP @ 66. Should APg be cranked up a notch or two? dont think ram rate is an issue but should I try 1:1?
