I am looking at buying a new laptop for college. I would like to spend under $2,000. I am not sure on what would be a good gaming laptop for the price. What should i be looking at for CPUs and video cards. Also would get 1g of memory be good or should i go for 2g. I will be wanting to play games like Dark Messiah of might and magic. Please help me with finding one.

Dell. No really, get a Dell! Try out their website, it's very easy to use. I'm sure that you don't need to spend a whopping $2000. But for a top of the line PC, get a Core 2 Duo, and avoid "Intel graphics". Also try upgrading the battery for more time (you'll need it). You'll want a full size keyboard for all the typing you'll be doing. If you tend to drop stuff alot, get a Toughbook by Panasonic.
