I would like something cheap and that can run the following:

- Socket 939 Dual Core Processor (probably the X2 3800)
- 2 GB RAM
- 8800 GTS 320 MB
- 1 CD and 1 DVD Drive
- 1 HD 120 GB
- 5 Fans (1 CPU, 4 case)
- A8N SLI-Deluxe mobo

I have a feeling its my psu thats holding my graphics card back. I am going to see if I can borrow my friends 600 watt psu tommarow to test it. If it is or isn't I have to get a new PSU anyways so please recommend me some.

I would prefer for it to be reliable too. A good company.

Thanks guys.

How cheap? If you can swing around $100 you could get:

Corsair HX520W

Built by SeaSonic so reliability is certain, has 40A on the 12V rail, very quiet, and modular. She'd do your rig justice.

How about a budget to work from

Looks great. Anything below the $100 limit will do good.
Instead of starting a new thread, can someone tell me if this PSU will run the system well and not lag my graphics card up?

it should be sufficient. the GTS 320 requires a 400W powersupply.
though for under $100 you should be able to find something slightly better probably.
I would choose the corsair but the issue is that the one I posted is only $35 somewhere else.

Would the rail fit for a dual core and everything else on the CoolerMaster?
*BUMP*

Any help? I need to know this.
Antec True Power-Trio 550W. Best PSU for under 100 dollars, friend has 1, works perfectly fine, powers everything, plus 8800gts, 3 hds, etc, fans. You wont be dissapointed for the price.

its SLI compatible to, so if you have a SLI motherboard and ever wanna be crazy and put another 8800 in your system, youll be covered
also has 3 12v rails

i had a 600w cooler master and that thing was horrible. the fan was loud, only the 24 pin power connector was sleeved nothing else and it was a mess in my case. it also ran pretty hot and had only 34a (i think) on the 12v rail.

go with the hx520. $105 after tax and shipping at buy.com

This would be your best choice

If you don't choose this power supply you're making a big mistake
