Help with my first overclock

Im a newb anyways but basicly im just now old enough to buy a cpu and i cant change the options. Is the bios that screen "setup" its called?
Ive tried so hard to find a place whwere somebody can help me overclock my rig

Welcome to the forums.


Your overclocking options will depend primarily on the motherboard you have. Download CPU-Z from our download section to find out the exact model you have. Post that back here, and we'll try to get you started.

Also, research which power supply you have. You may need to open your case to do so. A strong power supply (Wattage and, more importantly, amperage) is one key to a good OC.
