I need some assistance =)

Last night I got a new Mobo, CPU along with the
Cooler Master Centrurion 590 ATX case.

I got everything hooked up and is working,
but one thing is keeping me in limbo.

I notice on the Centurion 590 ATX case, where the
I/O panel, it has some cables coming from it that needs to been installed to the MOBO (connection).

On the I/O panel it has the following wires coming
from it: USB 2.0x2, IEEE 1394 x1, MIC x1, SPK x1 (supports HD / AC' 97 Audio).

Now the only one I was not able to hook-up to my mobo
was the HD Audio.
So that wire is hanging in limbo inside the Mobo case with nothing to connect to.

The mobo I have is the MSI K9N SLI-F V.2

Little bit more info:

Here is the ATX case info:

Cooler Master Centurion 590 (RC-590)

Thanks for helping me out regarding the HD wire coming from the I/O front bezel/panel or even if I need to hook it up to anything.

You won't always have a use for every cable. That's normal.

Yea I notice on the same cable coming from the I/O panel, both the HD / AC' 97 Audio had the same connector.

Do you know if it matters which one is recommended to use from option: HD or AC' 97 Audio?

Thanks man.

Depends on what your mobo has.... check the specs?

Yep, here's what it says:

So yes, I am little bit confused and not sure which one to us to connect to my mobo

Well maybe I'll just use the AC'97, since HD is probably more towards HTPC crowds, which mine is not intended for that

Am I on the right path? Hope to graduate soon
