Ok...

I have a 20gb Windows 7 partition on my laptop. The rest of the HD is my Vista partition of 200gb's (or so).

When I'm in 7, I want to be able to access my music stored on my Vista partition. I can't seem to get this to work.

I attempted to give myself full control of my music folder... Properties --> Security. It only applied to about 1/4 of the folders. Now I have to go through and give myself Full Control of each individual folder... one at a time... or I can't listen to my music... =\\

Anyone have a similar problem?

What I did is just redirect the documents to root with a different folder. Or you could just have the music in a different folder altogether, then you don't have to worry about the finnicky windows permission settings

I can't copy/delete or move these files...

When I try it says I need permission... when I try to give myself access it says "You have been denied permission to access this folder. To gain access to this folder you will need to use the security tab."

When I try to set permission though... it already says that I have full control.
