Help with random power off issue

I have a ASUS Striker Extreme and recently I wiped my hard disk and had a bad stick of RAM so I sent it back to them and they sent me newer faster compatible sticks of 2 GB of RAM. My issue is that now when I turn on the computer, the system will turn on for say 20 seconds and then power off for no reason. The amount of time it takes is different every time. Sometimes I can get as far as to the BIOS setup or not even past the boot logo for the motherboard. Have tried different sticks of RAM and still getting the same problems. Removed/reset CMOS as well.

It's power off or reset?
If power off, there is problem with PSU, maybe too weak or mainboard, dimm slot or PCI slot has short-circuit.
What is the oldest element of your machine (including fans) ?

Your contribution was helpful.

Try putting the motherboard on a table and try again.
