Help with registrar and A records.

Ok, I have a website -example.110mb.com- I can't post it 'cause it'll be advertising.

Anyways,

I bought two actual domains "example.com" and "example.net".

I bought them from domainmonster.com.

I go to the manage domains tab, and I *think* I have to change the A records to point to my websites server address correct? 'Cause I've done that and it's not doing anything at all....

You will need to enter the nameservers at your registrar that your hosting company gives you.
ex. ns1.webhostcompany.com & ns2.webhostcompany.com (sorry for the edit I had it backwards first)
and your A records are the actual webserver ip or virtual ip on the webserver that will point to your domain name

ugh....

So far what I've done:

I've changed the A records to point to my hosts server IP. Is this correct? And it should take some time to replicate right?
yes, that sounds right for the A address.

But have you got the nameservers from your host and entered them at where you purchased the domain name from. Thats how the domain name will reach the box that hosts your site in short..

And yeah sometimes it does take a bit, depending on quite a few things. I have a webserver down at a large datacenter in TX and sometimes it can be quicker depending on if I restart bind(the nameservers) after making new entries so if your webhosts restarts/resets more often it'll speed things up.
They say it can take up to 72 hours though for things to fully resolve.

This is where I'm at now (attached)

Do I need to enter my hosts DNS into the 3rd party servers option?

You should put your hosting companies Name Servers (Primary and Secondary) into the "3rd Party Name Server" section.
