I have a serious problem with my 16gb PNY Attache flash drive. Every time I try to write over 1gb worth of data, it stops in mid transfer and acts like its not connected anymore. I have to disconnect it and connect it again and transfer less than a gigabyte of files at a time. Also when I try to read something fromit, transfers start at 25mb/s and a minute later it starts dropping of until 390kp/s or so... Ive tried it in different computers and operating systems (32 & 64 bit) and it keeps doing it. Any help would be great!

Have you tried running HDtune for it? (At least I think that is what it is called) Also, I'd try it in Linux (if you haven't already) to see if it has the same problem. If it doesn't, it could be the software that it comes with.

This is a great suggestion. Most of the flash drives I've had have been FAT 16. Which obviously wouldn't like huge file transfers. FAT 32 would be the most compatible and can support up to 4GB files I believe.

It sounds like you need to RMA it.
