I have an x1900 w/stock cooling. I'm just curious what would be safe voltages to use above default?

VGPU - 1.225
MVDDC - 2.086
MVDDQ - 2.086
VDDCI - 1.438

this is all standard, i hvnt changed

With the stock fan at %100 or "hair dryer" I got two different x1900xtx to 702mhz game/bench-ready at 1.475v

You can use get more with good temps

89C load

i have a VF900 which keeps it under 50C load

i suggest you buy one if you want to overclock or add more volts.

Upping the fan speed will make the stock cooler perform just as good if not better than a vf900, but the vf900 is much less noisy

You cant get a x1900xt(x) under 70c on air, they're just radiant

On a 188w pelt mine reaches almost 40c at 1.575v. Seems alot when you watch it ride up from -10c idle

im sorry but thats just not true

with the stock cooler i was 70C under full load

with the VF900 im 50C under full load

20C difference is a big difference.

please provide proof that the Stock cooler on the X1900GT can perform as good as the VF900

Ahh, I thought I read xt in his sig, I was referring to the xt fan

Your card, the GT is cooler than the xt by a significant margin as well, it has 1/3 less pixel and vertex shaders, has a smaller die
