Hello I just wondered if anyone can offer me any advice on overclocking my ATI Radeon X600? I have got ATITools, how long should I let the test max memory and max core temperature run before setting? Will it affect the lifespan of my graphics card? I have 1Gb of RAM and Intel Duo Core, which plays Battlefield 2 on medium and high settings smoothly.

Thanks.

You let it run until its completion mate. No it wont affect the life of the card aslong as its max temp doesnt exceed 80 c.

Welcome! Don't exceed 75-80 degrees and you'll be fine. Graphic cards always run high temperatures like those.

This would have been better posted in the section "ATI graphics cards" or "Graphics Cards - General"

Because:
1) It doesn't belong in news
2) The experts of video cards usually hang around those sub-sections
