I was doing some OC'ing on my new Opty and DFI mobo and got up to 2950Mhz and thought I was doing well. I restarted to try to hit 3Ghz after setting the bios the mobo no lobger recognized my hdd. I was so pissed off. I tried different SATA ports and nothing. Well, this morning I hokked up my old S754 stuff to see if it was the drive or the board and the drive is fine. I reconnected my DFI and it saw my hdd so I'm back up and running. Now I noticed in my bios that instead of seeing SATA 1, SATA 2 etc.... I am missing SATA 3. What the heck happened? The channel just isn't there anymore. Can OC'ing ruin your mobo? Again, the bois only sees 3 out of 4 SATA channels. What should I do?
