I never knew how huge a heatercore really is. I got one from dangerden and I'm neither sure how to mount the fans and shroud(more of a spacer really) to it and where the hell can I stick it in the case./... here is what my case looks like... where do i put the damn thing

Could you fit it in the top? Or do like Death-o-Nator did, remove the bottom HDD rack and put the heater core there with the front fans blowing through then a 120mm fan on the other side.

Stick it in the top and towards the front and make use of some of that space by the 5.25" bays.

It will most likely have to be an external mount, which is also better because you don't just blow warm air through it over and over again. as for the shroud, you could solder it on?? lol, and anything that can fit a couple of 120mm fans is gonna be big.

yea i may have to do that... getting the 20.6 and not the 26.4 inch case is really... really biting me in the ass... since i found an easier way to do a casemod... a cutting wheel my dad has which makes a dremel look like a baby to a pornstar... i may get the bigger case yet... i was also considering fabricating and external enclosure.. problem is how would i powdercoat it to match my case...

EDIT: I ruled out removing the hdd racks because i plan to have a minimum of 2 sata drives and probably will go up to 3 or 4 in time....

im about to go see if it will fit above the cddrives... i doubt it though.... unless i were to have the fans on the outside... but it might look cool if just the rad was on top of the case... fans in the case above cd drives... but like zokus said external mounting may be best since i have a very cold room and it would be getting more air that way... i really wish i'd gotten the bigger case
