hey guys im johnny im new 2 overclocking.net. i filled out my system specs, just wanna overclock my cpu if i can 2 atleast 2.4 as it is standard 2.13.. what do i do from here? nice to meet you all btw <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/tongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick out tounge caps">

You can overclock both, download a program like RIVAtuner to overclock your graphics card, its really simple. To OC your CPU its a little more complicated, but not much. Let me dig you up a FAQ

yeah, go to Graphics properties - settings -advanced - 7600GT - Clock frequency settings<br><br>
or you can download RivaTuner. I used the RivaTuner later. Both work, though RivaTuner is better<br><br>
For CPU you have to do it through the BIOS. Press Delete (or F2) when your computer starts<br><br>
The FAQ's are really helpful

is their a guide i can use? also where can i get riva tuner? i think ill just OC my gfx if the cpu is harder <img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" />

Welcome to Overclock.net.<br />
I'd suggest booting into bios and just familiarizing yourself with the multiple screens within. Don't change any settings.<br />
A mobo guide would also be helpful.<br />
<br />
When overclocking, things heat up due to higher speeds & voltages.<br />
For healthy overclocks, an aftermarket cooling option is highly recommended.<br />
<br />
Also spend some time surfing this site's various forums and FAQ's before you rush into anything your not yet sure about.<img src="/images/smilies/thumb.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Thumb" class="inlineimg" />
