Hey guys,

I'm getting what I perceive to be high temperature readings on my x1900xtx under load, and they concern me greatly, as this card isn't even a week old in my box yet. It's reaching 86 deg. Celcius, and frankly that scares me. I've looked all over and I can't find the temperature threshold for the card, but I imagine I'm bumping right up against it? Any ideas or information on the temps would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Devman

most cards are good up to 80C for long term use. so you're not that high over. if you don't have problems, i wouldn't worry about it. the x1900 is clocked very high and it is not surprising it runs hot. make sure your case has good airflow though, and is getting all that hot air out of the case.
