Hi, so I have a FX 6200, my cooler is ARCTIC Freezer 11 LP. The CPU temperature seems really high to me, when idle, it's ~42c, on full load it hits 80c. Is that too much? Can that damage the CPU? The system seems stable so far, but I'm avoiding any stress testing before I'm sure I won't burn something. I tried reseating the cooler and nothing changed. Also, I'm not overclocking.
Thanks for taking time to read this.

That seems too high for the FX 6200.

What program did you use to read those temps?

What kind of case do you have and how is the airflow?

Are you sure the cooler is mounted properly and how did you apply the TIM?

Lastly, are you overclocked?

Yes is way to much, especially since is on stock frequency. The FX 6200 is a 125 W TDP so the max temp should be 62 C.
