hi all,

im back! with a story of success!!

i just purchased a thermaltake tower 112 and have 2 fans mounted on it

i brought the cpu down to the stock clock and vcore, and was running at a max of 32c idle, not bad!

i have now taken my p4 1.8 up to 2.44 , vcore from 1.5 to 1.575

and the temps have not changed!!!!

1) is this possible?
2) what a heatsink!!! stinkin huge, but i guess it does its job when it comes to dissipating the heat welll!!!!

i am a happy camper...

im sure the xp120 does a good job, but come on, not a single jump in
cpu temp...

well, from what i've heard, only raising your vcore will amp up your heat. modifying the fsb will only let more "Stuff" flow through the opening... its the vcore that makes it heat up because you're supplying more electricity to the processor, and the fsb mods don't create any more heat

I use the 102 model, (Silent Tower) not all copper but it keeps this P4EE cool enough to clock at 3.99 The two fans keeps the air moving through it like a wind tunnel.

People don't believe how quiet it is when they come to visit. I'm glad you have the all copper one. I would have got it too, but it came out after I bought mine.

Enjoy that beast, I know I love mine!
