Hi i hav this problem with my internet, ill be playing online or lookin at stuff and then it will just cut out. So i thout it was my isp so i rang em up and they checked to see if my area had anything wrong with it and it was all ok. So i thought it was the modem, i got a new one cause we got another pc so i got a router modem and the old one was just one that we got for free, so i checked with the one we got off our ISP and it worked. So then i went out and got a new modem and it worked................for about a week then the same thing happened. I am currently on my 4TH!!! modem now so i doubt it is that so can anyone please help as i dont wanna pay $50 for my internet a month and not be able to use it. Oh i almost forgot i tried to see if it was my ethernet that wasnt workin but i can still play lan games with my brother so any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Check out "tweak test" and "doctor tcp". Also you can sign up for a free membership and use "line packet loss testing" to see if you're dropping any packets.

Do the lights on your modem actually indicate that your internet is out?? Or does it just go out and it indicates that it is working??
