On FireFox i know it is possible to select multiple home pages using | between then but then everytime you press home it loads each page again. Is there a way to set certain pages to open automatically as soon as you open FF so i could have a single home page? If not is it possible to make only 1 page load when you visit home?

You could set several pages you check frequently into a single bookmarks folder and right-click then select, "open in tabs," when you open the program. This will open them all in tabs and you can switch back and forth at your leisure.
