Question.

I have an laptop. Is it possible to set it up to a 30-40 inch flatscreen monitor and play off the laptop, but watch on the bigger monitor?

I have a Dell Inspiron 9100, P4, ATI mobility radeon 9700 GC. blah blah...

Also, is there any way of SAFELY overclocking this hunk o junk. It has 2 built in fans and i use this cheesy USB powered fan also.

Well, The CPU has no chance, But depending on whether or not you want to risk it, The Graphics card can be.

Do you have a temp sensor for it?

For the external monitor, Does it have VGA out?

Now, I have a program for Ocing the VC, but everytime I move it barely ANYTHING, it makes my laptop freeze, and then I have to reboot.

I dont think its good for it.

ANything else I can do to speed it up> My FPS have DROPPED dramatically.

dont mess with it. i asked the same question in the laptop forum and they said it will kill battery life, and shorten cpu time. why are you playing games on a laptop anyways? unless its one of those like 3000 dollar gaming laptops, just buy a desktop or mod your existing one. id leave your laptop alone, its a lot cheaper to replace desktop parts then laptop parts.
