hey guys so this has happened to me twice in the past 10 minutes. I ve been playing skyrim and been in the map when everything freezes and i have to hard restart it. i felty the front of my pc and noticed the it was very hot so i opened the sie and felt the ssd because it was directly behind where the heat was and felt the my ssd was quite hot. is this normal? could i get some advice

Update: i just had skype and firefox open and my pc did the same thing

What SSD do you have? Are you on the latest available firmware?

Its a Kignston 64gb. im not to sure which type/model so if you could tell me how to find out ill tell you. as for firmware i havnt updated since i got it last year so ther probably is a new one
as for temps they look normal
gpu whilst playing skyrim for 5 mins was max 60c
and cpu max was59c

SSD firmware needs updating, driver conflict, or corrupt OS. Your SSD is not overheating.

He said in his OP that the front of his case felt very hot too. Something is overheating inside his PC, we just know the SSD isn't the source of said heat.
