To get straight to the point, there is a discount on these Silent Wings 2 fans (80, 120 and 140 mm) from be quiet! so I am wondering if they are any good. AFAIK be quiet! products are usually overpriced, so I am a bit skeptical. Can anybody point me to a review/comparison?

So, nobody knows anything about these fans? They are listed with the following specs

Fan speed @ 12V (rpm) 1500
Air flow @ 12V (cfm, m3/h) 50.5 / 85.8
Air pressure @ 12V (mm H2O) 1.63
Noise level @ 12V (dB(A)) 15.7

Do they seem good/legit?

They seem to be regarded very highly by the few people I've seen speak of them, but their limited availability (particularly state-side) makes reviews/info on them rather sparse. I would buy one first before going all-out, which is generally a wise move with any fan.

From the reviews i have seen, the Silentwings (2) are exceptionally quiet for any given rpm. No bearing noise, no motor whine, low airflow noise.
However, they are not particularly powerful and not great for heatsinks or radiators. I see them used primarily as case fans for very quiet systems.
