thanks, problem is vertex 2 is not available here.

oh and just found out that my mb chipset nforce 650 doesnt support trim(no ahci), just to make things interesting. Ill prolly will be using it with xp too..

Just be warned, nForce SATA controllers don't behave nicely with SSDs. Don't be surprised if you get lower than expected performance.

True. I cannot back that up.
According to a benchmark, the Vertex should perform insignificantly better. But it is hardly anything.
