the os is windows 7 ultimate 64 bit im looking for any ideas or solutions

Start > Run > Type "msconfig" > Start up tab > Untick any programs that you don't need to start at boot..

Also, in msconfig, go to boot tab and click "No GUI boot". It'll be a bit faster as it doesn't show the windows animation.

be sure and use the x86 one..the x64 never works/causes bsod

so far ive done everything and dont feel like i have the performance i should be getting so would the next step be to buy a better motherboard
