Ok here's my problem. I need to install windows XP on the machine I'm on right now because it's in Chinese and cannot be changed.

Tools I have:

USB HDD.
USB Drive.
An iso of windows XP english that I ripped from my CD.

Can I just put the iso on the root of the USB HDD and it will boot it?

are you able to download a language pack and then set it to english? Iwould google search that first.

It just seems like there would ba a hotfix or something for a problem like this.

You can only change regional settings and such. Not the actual language.

I figured it out. I extracted the ISO and then just ran the installation EXE. I am so used to installing from boot I forgot you could do it within Windows.

Thanks everyone.
