cl_showfps 1 is what you use for source games

but are you asking how to show your fps in other games?

ya im only asking in CS:S. also where do u type that into cuz i dont know how to bring the console up uz i just got CS:S.

I would recommend cl_showfps 2. That shows averaged FPS over the last 500MS or so... not a number changing so fast you can't even read it.

Under keyboard options in advanced (in options), there is a box, check the box where it says "enable devloper console" and you pop up the console by pressing ` that key (to the left of the 1 key)

and yes, the commands for source and 1.6 and CZ ect are
off is net_graph 0
to see it they are net_graph 1 (replace 1 with a 2 or 3 for different types, 3 is my personal fav) or cl_showfps 1 like nut said
