That is nowhere near true, when the volts change in CPUZ it's just a power management setting in BIOS that when the cpu goes at idle it'll lower the volts to try and save a little power. Go into BIOS and disable C1E, EIST and/or Speedstep
but but but.. i dont have any of those in bios XD and i really want to now how to see if i need extra power not just that about CPUz but thanks for clearing that up. common sense really Xd unfortunately i dont have any by the looks of it
what brand of PSU do you have? I am guessing 600w is enough for ya

EDIT: yes you do have those settings on that MB.

ahh and i have took that off lol

and yes i am a "special boy" lol
I think you will be fine with a C&Q PSU...your only running one GPU...I guess if you had a few bucks to spend you could get a corsair or a antec.
8800GT is a 105w GPU. With OCed dual chip, the antec EA380w can handle them easily. The problem is the generic 600w usually has less than 350w on 12v which is matter to cpu and GPU.
ok thanks i gotta go now liek so ill have a think about this when i wake up lol thanks again
when your system dies, you know that u need more power

i lot cpu/ram/mobo to a psu. it sparked and shorted 110v ac to my system... was an awesome show/sound, but expensive lesson to learn.. i would say get a good trusted psu as soon as you can.. the one you have might last a while, or it might last a month, but you are risking other components as well
