Basically your changing the resistance of a component usually the installed resister that is used to set the amount of voltage sent to the gou or ram. Generally you lower this resistance to get a higher amount of voltage to go to the part.
and im guessing this totally voids your warranty as well?
Well any pencil mod can easily be "erased" and along with that goes any evidence of voltmodding. Now the soldered volt modds thats another story. Unless your really really sneaky I dont think you can get away with that one.
