Console games use auto-aim.
haha halo vanilla port was so funny, i can play on newb with xbox controller, but i ran thru it in legendary on pc becuase it was the same extact game as xbox version and was set to turtle aiming time.
Screen size alone does not matter.... You have to consider resolution and viewing distance as well.Originally Posted by Huffbanger
My aiming was dreadful when I came over from the PC world. I almost gave up on consoles completely until I started playing on a monitor. I am 10x better on a 20" monitor than I am on a 55" TV. Even when the TV is in "game mode" I'm still horrible. I have been playing BF3 and lately my kill/death ratio is around 1.7 on my 20" monitor. When I go and play on my dad's 55" Samsung LED I'm lucky if my kil/death ratio is .8. I'm not sure if TVs still have a hint of lag or if my eyes just can't scan fast enough over the big screen. For me it's definitely the screen size.
This. Console games are designed to even the playing field for an enjoyable experience, auto-aim helps lesser skilled players enjoy the game also.
I found this too, I switched from my lousy 32" lcd 720p tv to my 24" 1080p dell monitor and i did much better. The monitor had a much better quality image so I was able to make things out easier I think that affected it.Originally Posted by Huffbanger

same, i play on a 25" 1080p HDTV that i also use as my main monitor, i tried to play on my 42" in the living room...man did i fail bad.....i did even worse when i tried to play PC BF3 on my 42" TV, went back to my 25" and all was good
So not true. Many people may claim this, but this is def not true. Only some games have auto-aim and many "good players" actually turn it off cause it actually hurts you more than it helps.
no Halo does not have auto aim, neither does BF3 I belive. CoD is one of the few games that brings auto aim to the console community.
