I got a bad 4890, sending it back to them, just waiting for reply. Do I just get a 4890 back, or do they offer anything else?

Orr, can I kick up a fuss and try to get a new card, for the inconvenience

Euro/UK XFX aren't meant to be brilliant. I read a thread on OCuK once with some bad experiences. Don't get your hopes up.

Are they definitely going to reimburse you at all? The warranty is only 1 year old, despite the 2 year you might have thought.

Good luck though

Hehe, they'll probably just give you another 4890 considering it's not a dead-old card. The only RMA I filed was with BFG, which offered a lifetime warranty on my GeForce 8800GTS 640MB card. I RMA'ed it after about two years I believe and they sent me a GeForce 8800GTX 768MB. I was hoping for even better but that wasn't the case!

In either case I sold the RMA on Ebay for a good £80, hehe.

Nice

I heard someone saying they paid extra to get a better card, so cash + card for new one. Can you do this? Or did I imagine it?
