Ive got kingston hyperx 1066mhz ram, CL5, at 5-5-5-15 @ 2.2v or 5-5-5-18 @ 1.8v, both recommended from the manufacturer. However those timings are for 1066mhz. I was wondering, since I heard AMD memory likes tighter timings instead of faster speed, if its possible to lower the timings down to 4.4.4.12 by lowering the divider from 3:8 (1066Mhz) to 1:2 (800mhz)? what else do I need to keep in mind? Thanks for much!!

Just do it and you'll find out. Sometimes the AUTO settings will be good enough to simply run them at 4-4-4-12. It just depends on your memory and mobo. Let us know if you have troubles, then we'll be able to help you figure it out then.
