I have a descent computer that my grandpa brought to me about 6 months ago. It is a custom and we built together. It has a 1.6 gig amd thoroughbred processor that I need help with overclocking. It also has 512 megs of ram, nvidia geforce4 mx-440 64 meg video card that is overclocked to 300/450 from 250/333. That helped my 3dmark score quite a bit. It also has an 80 gig hd, a cd burner and cd drive, and a sound blaster pci card. If anyone could help me with how to overclock my cpu, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!

do you know what kind of motherboard it is???
well anyways get ready to mess with your computer...
restart your computer and pres delete a couple of times and this should get you into your BIOS...
From there search for something that has FSB or front side bus listed. You can rais that in incriments to get it overclocked... i believe also that you can pencil mod your AMD chip basically you do this by taking a pencil and drawing a line on the top of your chip to connect the two gold dots on top where it says L1
that should give you your multis
